  • Lead Artist: Wendy Daws
  • Artist: Christopher Sacre

Join local artist Wendy Daws to explore the Japanese art of Enbosu, meaning to emboss – a form of printing that involves absolutely no ink or paint at all!?!  Have fun with different patterns and textures, create your own prints to take home and keep.  And enjoy all the other family-friendly attractions at Gillingham’s annual festival which celebrates the life of Will Adams, the first Englishman to travel to Japan.  Colourful kimonos, martial arts displays, calligraphy and manga, plus Tudor and maritime history and games.

(All children must be accompanied by an adult).
