During this drop-in event, the whole family can join artist Christopher Sacre to create their own artwork on the theme of One Day.

Create something about one day in the past, present or future to display on a timeline. What events or stories do you remember from the past? How do you feel about the present? What are your hopes and dreams for the world’s future!?

In recognition of Holocaust Memorial Day 2022 Chatham Memorial Synagogue has commissioned local deaf artist Christopher Sacre from the MESS ROOM to support deaf students at Thomas Aveling School to create artwork on the theme of ‘One Day’.The students looked at the history of deaf people, their present
reality and imagined what the future might hold for them, and then created artwork to illustrate their ideas.
