People who have BSL as a first language came together at SACRE STUDIOS in Chatham, Kent for a series of workshops delivered in BSL to express their creativity and relax in a fully inclusive signing environment. This project was delivered in collaboration with 3D Care and the Royal Association for Deaf People (RAD).

Commissioned by WonderArts, SEE&CREATE worked with a group of young people over ten weeks to create a mural on the theme of pride in deaf identity which became a permanent feature at Deafness Resource Centre in St Helens.

We worked in collaboration with the Museum of London and Frank Barnes school to support young deaf students to learn about the great fire of London and reimagine life for deaf people at that time. They then created a historical ‘deaf-friendly’ house for deaf residents of London!

To support families to have greater access to creative activities we made this series of six episodes with a simple art activity which could be made with materials readily available at home. Each episode was delivered in BSL with English subtitles.
